"Are you looking to feel better physically, emotionally and possibly spiritually? I understand and know that the mind, body and spirit can heal and come back into balance. Growing up with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis that started at age 8, I came to realize that by balancing my physical, mental and emotional well being, I could overcome the pain and inflammation in my body and also I am no longer on any medication. I would love to help you feel vibrant and well as well.
My passion is to help you be and feel the best you can so you can enjoy each and every day. Through Acupressure, Tuina (Chinese massage), Moxibustion, Reflexology, Reiki and advanced energy work custom tailored to you for your session, I will help you toward your goals.
Karen Takayama worked in the corporate world for more than 25 years, after which she founded High Mountain Well Being Center and two non profit organizations, Complementary and Integrative Practitioners Network (CIPN) and Synergistic Holistic and Integrative Network of Entrepreneurs(SHINE) with the goal to expand and bring awareness of holistic services to complement traditional medical care. She is fervent about SHINE’s mission “A Healthier World Through Holistic Care”.
